Introduction to Mindfulness
Bring mindfulness to your department with our Introduction to Mindfulness workshop. UF departments may request a one-hour introductory session, with the option of adding four supplementary 45-minute sessions for those interested in establishing a regular practice.
Workshop participants will learn about the myths and realities of mindfulness, and how to identify the dimensions of wellness in everyday life and distinguish between mindfulness and meditation. As part of the workshop, participants will gain experiential practice and find ways to incorporate mindfulness into their daily routine.
