Yoga classes

Yoga classes for the fall semester end of Tuesday, Dec. 19.

Join Kim Holton, Ph.D., instructional assistant professor for the Department of Health Education and Behavior, every Tuesday for a lunchtime yoga class!

Classes are held Tuesday’s in the Ustler Hall Atrium from 12:15 to 1 p.m. They are open to all faculty and staff, and are appropriate for all levels of experience.

No registration is necessary.

All classes are FREE to UF and UF Health employees. Before attending, you MUST complete our online waiver. You only have to do this once.

Zumba classes

These no-cost Zumba classes are available for UF and UF Health Shands employees. Join Louise for Zumba on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30–6:15 p.m. at the UF Health Professional Park building. Wear comfortable clothes you can work out in, tennis shoes, a water bottle, a towel and an open-mind.

Zumba is a high-energy class that is suited for all fitness levels. It uses easy-to-follow dance moves mixed with Latin rhythms to get your body moving, creating the ultimate dance fitness party! This fun-filled workout combines all elements of fitness—cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility—while boosting energy and leaving you feeling pumped.

Cycling classes

Cycling classes for the fall semester end on Monday, Dec. 4.

Join UF RecSports every Monday for a fast-paced, low impact cardio workout!

Classes can accommodate 15 participants and are held Monday’s in the Student Recreation and Fitness Center (SRFC) from 5:30–6:15 p.m. Classes are free, open to all faculty and staff, and are appropriate for all levels of experience. Registration for each class is required to participate.

25 hours prior to the start of class, a link will be provided to register along with a waiver that must be signed. Registered participants must arrive at the SRFC lobby no later than 5:15 p.m. to be let into the facility. Individuals who are not registered or arrive after 5:15 p.m. will not be able to attend the class. Registering for this class does not give access to any other RecSports facilities.

Campus conditioning classes

Campus conditioning classes for the fall semester end on Wednesday, Dec. 13.

Join Chloe Campbell, assistant controller within UF’s Finance and Accounting Division and CrossFit® Level 1 Trainer, in a mashup campus tour and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout series!

Held twice a month on Wednesday’s 5:30 – 6:15 p.m. at notable UF landmarks, Chloe will lead outdoor conditioning classes that can be scaled to any fitness level.

  • Nov. 8: Ben Hill Griffin Stadium at Gate 4
  • Nov. 29: Wertheim Lab for Engineering Excellence at the Reitz Union North Lawn

Live-streamed classes

Join the GatorCare Wellness Team Monday – Thursday at noon for 15-minute live-streamed classes focusing on strength, cardio, meditation or stretching. Tune in on Zoom by registering for the classes on their website. All fitness levels are welcome, and no equipment is needed!

Prior to participating in any fitness/wellness classes, you must complete this waiver.


Recorded fitness classes

From mind and body to strength and cardio fitness, UF RecSports offers hundreds of recorded classes you can follow at your own pace. Classes range from 30 to 60 minutes and will help you achieve your fitness goals from the comfort of your own home.

AIM workshops and wellness classes

The mission of Arts in Medicine, or AIM, has always been to connect with the hospital community and beyond around the arts in health. The AIM team is proud to present new ways of connection to those who have limited access to in-person engagements through virtual live-streaming, prerecorded classes and workshops, and other online resources.
