Allergies should not dissuade you from getting vaccinated
Vaccines remain highly effective in preventing infection, severe disease and hospitalization. Unvaccinated Americans are 11 times more likely to die of COVID-19 than those who have received the shots, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Having a history of allergic reactions, experts say, is rarely a reason to avoid getting vaccinated.
